#What would a library made just for teens look like?

Your library has the best (and newest) young adult books and an extensive collection of comics, graphic novels and manga. You can also drop in for board games, book clubs, and other activities. And if you need a ride, JTA has you covered! Duval County students, from middle to high school, can ride buses for free. Just show your student ID.

Plus, your student ID or library card give you instant access to FREE streaming movies, e-books and so much more with apps like Libby, Hoopla and Kanopy on your phone!

#Part hang out space, part study space

Did you know you can book a quiet study room at the library? Some branches even have dedicated teen rooms. Find your branch under “Locations and Hours” to see which rooms are available to reserve.

Plus, you can get homework and research help online, level up and learn new software and skills with LinkedIn Learning, and set yourself up for success in college and career with Peterson’s Test Prep. It’s all FREE with your library card.

#Have questions?

Visit your local library (we love answering questions), sign up for our Teen Think Tank email newsletter, or follow us social media. And if you have ideas about how to improve teen services at the Library, make your voice heard in Teen Advisory Board or by volunteering at the Library!
