#How to Access Kanopy Kids
Looking for content that's suitable for children ages two and up? In the Kanopy Kids section, kids can browse freely. To access Kanopy Kids, log in to your Kanopy account, then click “Kids” in the top-right corner of your homepage. Or, in the Kanopy mobile app, tap “More” at the bottom of the screen, then “Go to Kanopy Kids.”
You can also set up parental controls to ensure children can't view content outside of Kanopy Kids. Visit Kanopy Help Resources for more information.
#How Tickets Work
On Nov. 1, 2023, Kanopy changed from a “credit” system to a “ticket” system.
Tickets are now used to play videos on Kanopy. Each month, you will receive 18 tickets. Your tickets reset on the first day of the month, and unused tickets don't roll over to the next month. You can see your remaining tickets for the month in the top-right corner of the homepage.
Note: Kanopy Kids doesn't use tickets. That means you can access an unlimited number of Kanopy Kids titles each month!
As you browse for titles, you'll see the number of tickets required to watch each title and how long you have to watch it without using new tickets. For episodic titles, like TV series and The Great Courses, you'll also see what content the tickets unlock (e.g., "Season 1" or "all").
