Lit Chats:
Join us for a Lit Chat Interview with #1 New York Times bestselling author Elizabeth Gilbert, on Friday, September 23, from 6:30-7:45pm at the Main Library’s Hicks Auditorium and live on Zoom.
Gilbert is the author of books including Eat Pray Love, City of Girls, and Big Magic. Gilbert will be in conversation with local author and journalist Nikesha Elise Williams. Copies of Gilbert's books will be available for sale at the event and in advance from local bookseller San Marco Books and More. Note: Gilbert will not sign books at the event but signed bookplates will be available for attendees. Register for the event here!
Writer's Lab Programs:
Elizabeth Gilbert will also be providing a three-hour Big Magic Creativity and Courage workshop for the writers out there! The workshop will be in the Main Library’s Multipurpose Room on Saturday, September 24 from 10am-1pm. Please note: For this workshop Ms. Gilbert requests that all electronics be left behind. On Friday, September 9, at 12:05pm at the Main Library, join the Authors Roundtable for a Lunch and Learn on Writing for Children. This meeting will provide writers with the basics of writing a book for a 21st century child with a focus on literacy. Register here!
