# Reading Year-Round
The summer reading season might be coming to a close but with hot new titles hitting the shelves, Lit Chat author talks and interviews introducing you to your new favorite writers, and, of course, monthly book club meetups—there's always one good reason or another to check out a book. We're also gearing up for Jax Book Fest 2025, which features National Book Award winner and New York Times bestselling author Tiya Miles, among other authors of local, regional and national acclaim.
This annual celebration of books will take place over two Saturdays in September at the Main Library in downtown Jacksonville and include a day of workshops for local writers; Lit Chat programs for kids, teens, and adults; and more.
