Join a Book Club Jacksonville Public Library

# Invite a Friend to the Library

September is a great time to remind your friends of the value of their library cards. Not only is it Library Card Sign-Up Month and back-to-school season, it also marks the return of Jax Book Fest at the Downtown Main Library. This year, you can meet National Book Award winner and New York Times bestselling author Tiya Miles—among 50+ other authors of local, regional and national acclaim.

If they don't have one, let them know that getting a library card is free, easy, and empowering. For students, it’s a key to academic success. For adults, it’s a gateway to lifelong learning.

Please also take this opportunity invite a friend to your favorite library book club.  Or, if they can't come to the library with you, tell them about other things you enjoy, like requesting a personalized booklist or downloading e-books and audiobooks from the Digital Library.
