All Jacksonville Public Library locations are closed Tuesday, December 24 and Wednesday, December 25 for the Christmas holiday.

The annual Best of Elementary Art Show honors the fantastic work of student artists and their teachers in the Visual Art programs at Duval County Public Schools. Starting Thursday, March 14, one or more pieces of artwork from every public elementary school student will be put on display at library locations throughout the city.
The 2024 Northeast Florida Scholastic Art Awards Gold Key Exhibition opens officially on Saturday, February 17, and runs through March 10. Hundreds of "Gold Key" (or first-place) paintings, photographs, sculptures, and mixed-media masterpieces will be on display in the galleries on the first and third floors of the Main Library (and the Teen Room). You might need to make more than one trip to see everything! If you just can't wait for opening day, there's a special preview night during Art Walk on February 7!

A Visual Testimony: The Jazz Jam Photography Collection is making a stop at the Gallery at Main, Jacksonville Public Library's gallery space located on the first floor of the Main Library from August 2 through September 24.
