Gear Up for Summer Reading
Are you ready? Summer at Jax Library starts June 1. This year's theme, Unearth a Story™ underscores the joy of discovery that reading brings. So, what better time to visit the Library, check out some books, and model positive reading behaviors for the kids in your life?
Get hyped for summer reading by:
- Inviting a friend to your favorite book club (or going with them to theirs)
- Requesting a personalized booklist from our "Book Finder" librarians
- Bookmarking jaxlibrary.org/BookClub so you never miss a meeting
Looking for a challenge? The 2026 Jax Stacks Reading Challenge started January 1. As always, one of the 16 challenge categories is "A book read by a Library Book Club in 2026." Not only that, Library Book Clubs often read and discuss books that satisfy other challenge categories.
