Hi Everyone!
April is National Poetry Month! Let's take this opportunity to celebrate the expressiveness, delight, and pure charm of poetry. It's a special occasion that reminds us of the integral role of poets and poetry in our cultures. Poetry helps us appreciate the world around us and empathize with one another. I like to think of poetry as a rhythmic art form that expresses one’s love and thoughts.
How can you celebrate? I've collected some great resources below, but you could also consider entering the 2022 Jax Student Poetry Contest! Find all the information you need by visiting Jax Student Poetry Contest | Jacksonville Public Library (jaxpubliclibrary.org).
Stay safe and have a great week!
