Community First Cares Foundation Partners with Jacksonville Public Library Foundation to Boost Literacy in Duval County
Donors Can Double Their Impact on Reading and Literacy by giving to the Jacksonville Public Library Foundation this fall
JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Sept. 1, 2022 – Those who value literacy—to help children develop their skills early so they succeed in school, and for adults who need to unlock their potential earning power and self-confidence—can double their impact through a new partnership with the Community First Cares Foundation and the Jacksonville Public Library Foundation (JPLF). Community First Cares Foundation is the nonprofit arm of the Jacksonville-based Community First Credit Union.
From September 1 to December 31, 2022, all new and increased gifts to Jacksonville Public Library through the JPL Foundation will be matched by Community First Cares for up to $10,000.
Jacksonville Public Library provides summer learning programs for youth, G.E.D. test prep, and English for speakers of other languages, programs for adults, workshops like Writer’s Lab for aspiring writers and so much more.
Donations to this new matching gift program mean even more people will have access to Library services, and programs will be even more fun and enriching for adults and children. Donors’ families, friends, and neighbors will have even more opportunities to grow and succeed.
