Job Readiness Workshops at the Library
Prepare Young Adults for the Job Fair and Other Job Searches
JACKSONVILLE, Fla., May 18, 2016 – The Jacksonville Public Library will host a job and resource fair for teens and young adults, ages 16 – 24. Job seekers will have the opportunity to meet with over 25 company representatives and learn about prospective local jobs.
WHEN: Tuesday, June 14, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
WHERE: Main Library, Conference Center 303 Laura St. N. – 32202
The following businesses and resources have confirmed participation: Citi, City of Jacksonville, Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens, Kelly Services, McDonald’s, Northeast Florida Builders Association, Publix, Target, Walgreens, UF Health Jacksonville, Job Corps and more. Other businesses interested in participating are encouraged to contact Katie Guarino, teen librarian at the Main Library and event coordinator, at 630-0673.
