Books celebrating the PLAYERS

#Tee Up for the PLAYERS

The PLAYERS Championship is back! One of the most prestigious events in golf, the PLAYERS offers the highest prize fund of any tournament ($20 million) and features 144 of the top golfers.

#Jacksonville loves golf!

It’s no wonder so many people get excited when the event returns every year to the Jacksonville area! The Players has been in a number of locations over its 48-year history but it’s been played at the renowned Stadium Course at TPC at Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach since 1982.

#Tiger Woods

Adding to the excitement, Tiger Woods, the 82-time PGA Tour winner and 15-time major champion was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame at PGA Global Home in Ponte Vedra Beach last night. The life, success, and scandals of this golf legend are explored in detail in Tiger Woods by Jeff Benedict and Armen Keteyian. This 2018 book was the basis for the two-part HBO documentary Tiger (released in 2021).

Out of the Rough by Steve Williams takes another look at Woods (and other golf elites) from the perspective of “one of the most successful caddies of the modern era.” Williams spent 13 years on the bag of Tiger Woods.
