Jax Book Fest Call for Local Authors

Be Featured at Jax Book Fest 2026

Are you an author or illustrator living in or near Jacksonville, Florida?

Jax Book Fest is Jacksonville Public Library’s biggest, BOLDEST celebration of authors, local authorship, and the written word—held annually at the Main Library in Downtown Jacksonville.

Join us from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19, for a chance to meet new readers and sell and sign copies of your book(s) alongside three New York Times bestselling authors!

Open to local authors of children’s, teens/young adult, adult fiction or nonfiction books. For author selection criteria or to learn how to donate your book to the local author collection, read our blog.

Apply now through Tuesday, June 30, 2026.

There is no fee to apply or to table. Authors of all genres are welcome to apply. Authors will be notified of their acceptance by July 10.

Please note: Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. By submitting this application, you also agree to follow the Library's Code of Conduct.
