This month, we are highlighting books in our collection by and about people in the Asian-American & Pacific Islander (AAPI) community. This includes people with connections to the cultures and ancestries of China, India, Japan, the Philippines, Vietnam, Korea, Hawaii and other Asian and Pacific Islands.

Every May, the U.S. pays tribute to the generations of Asian American and Pacific Islanders who’ve become a part of this country’s history. What better way to celebrate than with books about these rich, diverse cultures?
