From roots to branches to leaves, let's learn more about trees!
READ: Because of an Acorn by Lola M. Schaefer
Use your library card or get a library card here!
Because of an acorn, a tree grows, a bird nests, a seed becomes a flower. Enchanting die-cuts illustrate the vital connections between the layers of an ecosystem in this magical book.
Increase pre-literacy skills as you read together:
- Ask your little one to repeat the names of items then ask if they can point to the item on the page.
- Pause periodically to ask your little one what they think is happening in the story.
- Encourage your little learner to name pictured items not listed in the text.
