Important information:
- This is a request form not a contract. This form does not guarantee a space at Beaches Branch Library Comic Fest.
- All tablers and attendees must follow the Library's Code of Conduct.
- We want to celebrate fans and their artistry. Any fan art sold must be original art. Fan-created artwork that is clearly based on (or very similar to) existing copyrighted artwork cannot be sold at this event; it is considered an unauthorized “derivative work” or an unauthorized reproduction (by substantial similarity) and therefore infringes the original copyright holder’s rights under 17 U.S.C. § 106. To be considered transformative (and therefore protected under Fair Use), fan art must add something new and different to the original work. Fair Use allows for the limited use of copyrighted material for the purpose of criticism, commentary, or parody. Art that is traced, copied, or AI-made will also be asked to be removed from the show.
- This is an all-ages show. Do not openly display any 18+ material or merchandise. Anything above a PG-13 rating should be covered, clearly marked as such, and accessible only with assistance.
- The artist bears all responsibility and risk for the items brought for sale to Beaches Library Comic Fest.
- Tables must be staffed by at least one person at all times. According to our Code of Conduct, the Library will not be held responsible for any unattended items. Please note: Library staff and volunteers are not allowed to man tables or conduct transactions.
- Table space, chairs, and tablecloths are provided but feel free to bring your own tablecloth, signage, and other materials needed for an attractive booth space.
- You are also responsible for bringing your own cash and/or card readers. The Library cannot make change for exhibitors.
- Space is limited. Some vendors and activities may be set up outside (weather permitting) in the covered area next to the main entrance. If you have a preference or require accommodations, please note that in the form below.
- Free public Wi-Fi is available and does extend outside.
