Designed for children ages 5-12 and their families, you'll meet and learn from exciting musicians, clever scientists, caring animal handlers, crafty magicians, and more!

Are you looking for ways to showcase your amazing books and connect with the community? We are excited to announce our Summer Reading Kick-Off on Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. This is an incredible opportunity to partner with Jacksonville Public Library, support Mayor Deegan's River City Readers citywide literacy challenge, and sell your children's books to the families in attendance.

Pop-Up Storytime: Celebrate Summer At The Cummer With The Library

Join library staff on Friday evenings in July and August for a special Pop-Up Storytime to celebrate Summer at the Cummer! Library staff will present two Pop-Up Storytimes at 5:00 pm & 6:00 pm in the The Cummer Gardens. The Library will also have a table where you can sign up for a library card and check out books! No registration required. Bring the family to experience stories, songs, art, culture, and community this Summer at the Cummer!
