There's nothing quite like turning the page of a beautifully crafted picture book... In November and all year long, Jacksonville Public Library celebrates the power and beauty of picture books as well as their importance in building key early literacy skills. Whether you join us at your favorite branch for Little Readers storytime or create your own storytime at home with a free Traveling Tales book bundles and activity kit, the Library is here to support your child on their journey to reading readiness and success.
January 23-27 is Celebrate Literacy Week here in Florida. It's designed to raise awareness about the importance of reading and to inspire Florida's students and families to make reading part of their daily routines. To celebrate, Jacksonville Public Library is showcasing some of the most talked about and checked-out books of 2022!
