Jacksonville Public Library is proud to host The Color of Freedom, presented by the Military Women’s Memorial and AARP, from September 7 to October 23, 2024, on the fourth floor of the Main Library. This powerful exhibit honors the diversity and contributions of America’s servicewomen.
Ever wonder what it takes to become a published author? As the author of Teemu the Emu and other upcoming releases, our friend Mr. Joe offers a unique behind-the-scenes glimpse. This is a chance for your budding artists and authors to discover the magic of storytelling within themselves. Jacksonville families of VPK– 5th grade students are invited to attend New Worlds Reading’s 2024 Book Bash on Friday, May 10.
Special Collections is located on the Fourth Floor of the Main Library in downtown Jacksonville and is open to the public during library hours. Appointments are not required to visit Special Collections, but please call ahead at 904-255-2665 if you have specific research requirements or will require extra assistance.
