Join a Book Club at Jacksonville Public Library

April is a big month for readers! Not only are April showers are the perfect excuse to cancel all your plans, stay in and read a great book, but it's also National Poetry Month! Plus, there's World Book Day on April 23! We're also partial to National Library Week (April 23 - 29). This year, the theme is "There's More to the Story" and libraries are full of them (and a lot of other very cool things).

So, what do you say? Want to join us at the Library to talk about books?

Lit Chat Author Talks, Writer's Workshops and more this March!

Programs for adults

This March, hear about a fascinating and influential (but relatively unknown) figure in Women's History, learn how the group Women Writing for (a) Change takes inspiration and writing techniques from their favorite books at our next Writer's Lab Workshop and join a discussion group on US foreign policy with topics that affect women and girls here in America and around the world!

Join A Jacksonville Public Library Book Club This November

During the month of November, we’re giving thanks for books, readers, and great discussions! We’re reading non-fiction and memoir, true crime, mystery, history, sci-fi, romance, and more. Check out our newest book club, From Books to Films, at the Southeast Library, and make sure to keep an eye on the meeting dates this month as some have changed due to holiday closures.
