Celebrate our community's deep pool of creative talent during Art Walk, held the first Wednesday of each month in Downtown Jacksonville. The Main Library stays open until 9 p.m. for the festivities.

# Art Tours of the Main Library
Augusta Savage, Al Held, Kathryn Freeman, Lee Adams, Jerry Uelsmann. Do you know that works by these artists and many more are on permanent display at the Main Library? Come take a 20-minute docent-led tour during Art Walk and rediscover these remarkable paintings, sculptures, and photographs. Tours start every half hour starting at 6 p.m. Meet the docent by the Art Tours sign in the Pajcic Promenade (the entry/hallway on the first floor).
# Monthly Zinester Meetup
Do you read zines? Make your own comics? Drop by Zine Zone on the first floor of the Main Library from 6 - 8:30 p.m. These Monthly Zinester Meetups provide a space for creators of self published zines to network, learn skills, do group projects and make art.

# In the Gallery on the 1st Floor:
Has a book inspired you or impacted your life? Come see how 14 Jacksonville artists used books to inspire their art. It's In the Books is a new exhibition with the The Art Center Cooperative and Jacksonville Artists Guild. Join them for a reception from 5:30 - 8 p.m. (during Art Walk). The exhibition ends Oct. 5.

# In the Gallery on the 2nd Floor Mezzanine:
Are you a fan of modern quilt designs? The Jax Modern Quilt Guild exists to support and encourage the growth and development of modern quilting through art, education and community. They are one of the seven sister guilds that hosts the annual Quiltfest Jacksonville.
Check out the latest exhibit from their members here at the Main Library, now through October 2.
# In the Betty Francis Art Gallery on the 3rd Floor Mezzanine:
Dawn Inglis Montgomery is a fine art painter living and working in Jacksonville, Florida. She brings a regionalism to her work, focusing on southeastern manufacturing industries. The workers and architecture of her family’s century-old manufacturing business located in historic Springfield are her source of inspiration.
Highlighting the overlooked and hidden corners that many pass by, her paintings juxtapose resilience and decay, nature and industry, to find beauty.
Support Structures: Industrial Landscapes Art Exhibition by Dawn Inglis Montgomery runs Aug. 25 - Oct. 5. Join her and the Jacksonville Artist Guild on the third floor for an opening reception from 5:30 - 8 p.m.
