Registered customers are welcome to attend the in-person watch party at the Mandarin Branch Library, located at 3330 Kori Road. Those who attend the watch party will have the opportunity to receive a free copy of Kaira’s book with a signed bookplate, while supplies last. These copies were generously donated by Kaira as a special thank-you to attendees. Customers who are unable to attend the watch party may join the program virtually on Zoom.

Lit Chat Interview

Attend the "watch party" at Mandarin Library from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12, or log in via Zoom. This 40-minute conversation with Armand Rosamilia will be followed by 20 minutes of audience Q&A.  This program was generously sponsored by the Friends of the Mandarin Library.

Kaira Rouda is active in the mystery and thriller writing community as a co-founder and co-host of the Killer Author Club, a live online show supporting authors. She’s also a member of Sisters in Crime, Mystery Writers of America, Women’s Fiction Author Association, and the International Thriller Writers Association. She served as a committee chair for the Edgar Awards 2024 and frequently appears on panels at conferences across the country.

Three of her novels have been named Amazon Editor’s Picks for Best Mystery, Thriller & Suspense. The Next Wife was named a Suspense Magazine Best Book of 2021, won the 2022 Silver Falchion for Best Suspense Novel and was a 2022 Silver Falchion first runner-up for Best Book of the Year.

Interviewing Kaira is Armand Rosamilia, a full-time writer of crime thrillers, horror and nonfiction, including A View From My Seat: My Season With the Jumbo Shrimp. He’s written over 200 other stories that are currently available. He is also a successful YouTuber, talking about writing and publishing on his Armand's Opinion channel. He lives in Jacksonville and loves baseball (maybe more than anything except for his wife and kids). he also loves coffee, bourbon and bourbon-flavored coffee.
