# Stock Up Now For Summer Reading!
Stock up and save on books, CDs, DVDs, and more - all while supporting your South Mandarin Branch Library! There's a wide selection of items for every age - children, teens and adults. The sale is located at 12125 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32223.
All three days of the book sale are open to all, but membership is encouraged and appreciated. You can join at the door for $10. Proceeds from sales and memberships are used to enhance programs and services at the South Mandarin Library.
Book Sale Hours:
- Thursday, May 1 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Friday, May 2 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Saturday, May 3 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Special Pricing:
- Fill a brown paper bag* full of books for $10
- Fill a plastic bag* full of books for $5
- Individual items are $1 and up
- Cash preferred
*The Friends will provide the bags.
Other Ways to Show Support
Can't make the sale? You can support the Friends at any time by donating your gently-loved books, DVDs, CDs, and jigsaw puzzles. Donations totaling less than 3 boxes can be dropped off at any branch. If you have a large amount of books (more than 3 boxes), you may consider taking the rest directly to the Friends of the Jacksonville Public Library bookstore located at 3435 University Blvd N (next to the University Park Branch Library).
