The Friends of Bradham and Brooks Library invites you to join them for an engaging conversation with this New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of 149 acclaimed romance novels and novellas in her hometown of Jacksonville, FL. An audience Q&A and book signing follow the interview. Note: Please bring your own copies of the author's books to be signed. Books will not be sold at the event.

Lit Chat Interview with Jennifer Coburn
Jennifer Coburn is a celebrated historical fiction author. Her latest book, The Girls of the Glimmer Factory, is an illuminating tale of resistance and the dangers of propaganda. Her other novel, Cradles of the Reich, is a historical novel about three very different women living at a Nazi Lebensborn at the start of World War ll. She has also published a mother-daughter travel memoir, We'll Always Have Paris, as well as six contemporary women's novels. She has also contributed to five literary anthologies, including A Paris All Your Own.

Junior Lit Chat with Zoe Persico
Zoe Persico is an author and illustrator with a love for the wild, the wondrous, and the whimsical. Her debut middle grade graphic novel, How to Talk to Your Succulent publishes 2025 with Tundra Books and has published works with Hazy Dell Press, Running Press Kids, American Girl, Disney Press, and more. When she's not working she enjoys playing board games, imagining in tabletop RPGs, admiring a passing thunderstorm, and petting her dog, Zombie.

Are You "Bananas About Books"?!
Jacksonville's annual "Celebrate Reading Week" returns March 2-8, 2025, with appearances by local and nationally known authors, live children's entertainers, book characters, and more! It ends with a party at the Main Library in downtown Jacksonville on Saturday, March 8 from 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.. where you'll get to see Mayor Deegan's new River City Readers Bookmobile and pick up a free book (and free lunch).
