May 10 is Mother's Day
Mother's Day is a time to celebrate and honor mothers, motherhood and maternal figures of all kinds. Often accompanied by gifts of flowers, heartfelt cards, hand-made crafts, luxe spa days and more, it's a day for showing gratitude and love. It can also be an opportunity to reflect on the invisible emotional labor expected of mothers in our society or to renegotiate the share of domestic tasks taken on by partners, children or other family members.
