A current sophomore at Andrew Jackson High School, John'Nesia is one of Brown Eastside Library's newest volunteers. She started volunteering during the summer and has already made a big impact. She has participated in the Teen Advisory Board and has helped with most of the branch's summer crafts and gaming activities by encouraging the younger children to participate, chatting with them, assisting with the tasks as needed, and passing out materials. During the summer opening and closing parties, John'Neisia handed out dinosaur badges and goodie bags, distributed snacks, and assisted with the crafts and clean-up. The staff is very appreciative of her hard work in making the activities and events run more smoothly!
