Ready for something magical, inspiring, and a whole lot of fun? Live from the Library is a series of engaging and educational performances - happening all summer long at your local libraries! Designed for children ages 5-12 and their families, you'll meet and learn from exciting musicians, clever scientists, caring animal handlers, crafty magicians, and more!

Are you looking for ways to showcase your amazing books and connect with the community? We are excited to announce our Summer Reading Kick-Off on Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. This is an incredible opportunity to partner with Jacksonville Public Library, support Mayor Deegan's River City Readers citywide literacy challenge, and sell your children's books to the families in attendance.
Are you interested in performing at Jacksonville Public Library? We are always looking for engaging and entertaining performers! ve from the Library performances are an hour in length, have an audience of 30 to 50 participants, and target children ages five through twelve. During school breaks (summer, winter, and spring), we may schedule multiple performances at any of our 21 branches across Jacksonville, FL.
