The Library Conference Fee Schedule included in this policy is established by the Board of Library Trustees of the Jacksonville Public Library and is authorized through policy 3.7.1 Library Conference Center.

7 Add-on options are available with Auditorium and/or Multipurpose Room rentals or with Secondary Event Space flat rate rentals.
In compliance with Policy 3.7.1 Library Conference Center, BOLT may make other spaces at the Jacksonville Public Library available for rental. Fees will be determined by the BOLT. See Section H for security andcustodial fees.
Upon advanced request, rental time may be extended by no more than two hours before or after standard schedule of service hours. Requests must be made at least 30 days in advance of event date.

The Multipurpose Room, the Hicks Auditorium, the full Conference Center, and the Secondary Spaces are available for booking at the rates listed in sections B and C with an additional surcharge. Available holidays are Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day and Labor Day. Exemptions and discounts do not apply on Holidays.

For a fee, the Library permits commercial and specialty filming and photography in its buildings. Access to filming at Library facilities must be done outside of operating hours. Fee exemptions do not apply. These rates do not apply to the Conference Center Primary Spaces.

Rehearsal space is contingent on staff and space availability. These may not be added to the rental until six(6) weeks in advance of the event date.

If the event space is not vacated as set out in the Facility Use Agreement, the Licensee will be invoiced at $750 for every additional hour or part of the hour plus all City of Jacksonville employees and Library contractual services overtime costs at the prevailing rate.
The Licensee may be billed for repair, and/or special cleaning at a sum necessary to restore the facility to its condition immediately prior to the licensee’s actual use of the facility.
The Board of Library Trustees authorizes the Library Director to establish procedures to administer this policy, and to delegate any and all responsibilities herein to other staff through such procedures, including the assessment, waiving and/or refunding of library fees.
