Beginning Monday, Nov. 2, the Special Collections and Memory Lab area on the fourth floor of the Main Library, 303 N. Laura St., will be closed to the public for carpet replacement. These areas will be inaccessible during the month of November.
Please note that Memory Lab equipment will also be temporarily unavailable on Friday, Oct. 30, while it is relocated in preparation for the project. During the closure, select Memory Lab equipment will be available to customers in a staffed area of the fourth-floor atrium. Equipment will include flatbed scanners, photo scanners, VHS equipment, and the overhead scanner. The map display, Great Fire diorama, and Veterans Museum interactive kiosk will also be accessible there. Additionally, a selection of materials from the Holocaust Collection will be available for checkout.
