All library locations are closed Thursday and Friday, November 26 and 27, for Thanksgiving.
This month marks the 50th anniversary of Pride Month, but many celebrations are going to look different this year. The Jacksonville Public Library is celebrating their Pride Month programs with two virtual events, Rainbow Storytime: This Day in June and Read the Rainbow: Teen Book Club. You can also find book lists that contain notable LGBTQ+ reads for all ages. Show your pride and celebrate Pride Month with Jacksonville Public Library!
Get your Library materials in a socially distant fashion, with grab-and-go curbside pickup service.
We know that most people who check out physical books, DVDs and CDs from the Library are dying to get their hands on those materials again. You may have been on the hold list for weeks or even months and are looking for the satisfaction that comes from that almondy-vanilla-like scent of an old book or that clean smell of a new book that awakes your passion for reading and transports you to far away worlds.
Are you ready to get your hands [safely] dirty?
