UPDATE: You and your neighbors have been waiting for more than a year for the newly-renovated children's areas at Highlands Regional Library and Webb Wesconnett Regional Library to be completed. The wait is over! Be there Saturday, March 12 (Highlands) and Saturday, March 19 (Webb Wesconnett) to be the first to play, create, and read in these areas that you helped shape starting back in 2018.
#Grand Re-Opening Celebrations
There will be ribbon cuttings at 11 a.m. followed by open houses (from 11:15 a.m. - 2 p.m.) with special guests like the Jaguar's Jaxson De Ville and a visit from the Jacksonville Zoo! If you only have a few minutes to spend, you can still check out fun drop-in activities, craft stations, and other ongoing activities that will set up throughout both spaces.

These projects were made possible, in part, by the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program which is administered by the Community Development Division. It is awarded annually through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to support neighborhood development. Additional funding sources include: the City of Jacksonville and the Library Capital Project which include fines and fees collected by Jacksonville Public Library.
