It's time again for everybody's favorite semi-annual BIG BAG BOOK SALE from our Friends of the Jacksonville Public Library! Fill up a bag (or three) with as many books as you (and the bags) can carry! Note: Paper grocery bags are provided. There will be a wide range of books available for all ages and book lovers. You can also find fantastic deals on movies, audiobooks, records, jigsaw puzzles, and more.

The Friends Bookstore is located at 3435 University Blvd. N. (next to University Park Branch).
Preview Night (Members Only)
- Thursday, March 27, 4-8 p.m.
- Fill a bag full of books for $12
- BOGO - Fill one paper bag full of books for $12 and fill another bag for FREE.
- Note: 2025 Memberships available at the door for $25
Open to All (No Membership Required)
- Friday, March 28, from 4-8 p.m.
- Saturday, March 29, from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
- Members: Fill one bag of books for $15 and get one FREE.
- Non-members: Fill two paper bags for $15 each and get your third bag FREE.
Note: The Friends Bookstore accepts cash, credit and debit cards. Proceeds from the memberships and book sales support and enhance programs and services at Jacksonville Public Library.

You can purchase your membership at the door for $25; it is good through December 31, 2025. Proceeds from the memberships and book sales support and enhance programs and services at Jacksonville Public Library. Members get BOGO on any store item ALL YEAR long as well as early access and special pricing during Big Bag Sales.
Can't make the sale? You can still support the Friends and the Library by donating your gently-loved books, DVDs, CDs, and jigsaw puzzles. Donations totaling less than three boxes can be dropped off at any branch. If you have more than three boxes, please take them directly to the FJPL bookstore located at 3435 University Blvd N. The bookstore is typically open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to noon and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Visit www.fjpl.org for more information.
