# Need Help With Your Taxes?

Jacksonville Public Library is proud to partner with the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) TaxAide during the tax season each year to provide FREE tax preparation.

AARP Tax-Aide sites are serviced by IRS-certified volunteers. They provide free tax counseling and preparation services to millions of low and middle-income taxpayers, with special attention given to those aged 60 and older. There is no income or age limit for assistance at AARP Tax-Aide sites. However, AARP sites cannot assist rental property owners or small business owners.

Schedule Your Appointment

Beginning January 17, you can call (904) 701-3462 or visit the Tax-Aide Site Locator and submit your ZIP code for the location nearest you to schedule an appointment. If you live near one of the library locations listed below, you can skip that step and simply use the direct links or Google Voice numbers provided. Note: Taxes will be prepared BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.

Last day to file: On Monday, April 15 (Tax Day), you can stop by Regency Square Branch Library between noon and 4 p.m. for last-minute questions and help with no appointment need.
