Teen Think Tank (6th - 12th Grade): Jewish American Heritage Month

Sometimes it's hard to imagine that people are still treated negatively because of the way they look or speak or even what religion they practice. May is Jewish American Month and we will take time to honor the contributions that Jewish Americans have made, past and present, to this great Nation. This Jewish American Heritage Month takes its theme from the ancient sage Rabbi Hillel’s most well-known saying–“If I am only for myself, what am I? If not now—when?” Let's work towards a better tomorrow where we can celebrate our differences and find ways to understand different points of views without hatred or violence.
