New York Times Best-Selling Author Alyssa Day to Speak at Jacksonville Public Library, March 8 Award-winning romance author Alyssa Day author talk and book signing at Jacksonville Public Library.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla., March 3, 2022 – On International Women’s Day and during Women’s History Month, Jacksonville Public Library will host New York Times best-selling romance author Alyssa Day for a Lit Chat at 6:30 p.m., March 8. The event will take place live at the Charles Webb Wesconnett Regional Library and will be livestreamed online via Zoom. Day will be interviewed by romance author Valerie Bowman. The event is free and open to the public. Following the event, Day will sign copies of her book.

"The Library is excited to welcome Alyssa Day and Valerie Bowman, two bestselling romance authors, to talk about this genre that's been popular for so long and is finally getting the mainstream recognition it deserves," Alison McCarty, Adult Learning Manager.
Day is a New York Times and USA Today best-selling author with more than a million books sold. She authored the Warriors of Poseidon and the Cardinal Witches paranormal romance series. She has won many awards for her writing, including Romance Writers of America’s prestigious RITA award for outstanding romance fiction and the RT Book Reviews Reviewer’s Choice Award for Best Paranormal Romance novel of 2012.
Bowman’s debut novel was published in 2012. Since then, her books have received starred reviews from Publisher’s Weekly, Booklist, and Kirkus. She’s been an RT Reviewers’ Choice nominee for Best First Historical Romance and Best Historical Romance Love and Laughter. Two of her books have been nominated for the Kirkus Prize for fiction.
