#READ: Dive, Dolphin! by Shira Evans
Use your library card or apply for an ecard here to access our digital library!
From the classic bottlenose dolphin to the orca, kids will be introduced to vocabulary in concept groups--helping them make connections between words and expand their understanding of the world.
Increase pre-literacy skills as you read together:
- Pause periodically to ask your little one about what they think the dolphins are doing.
- Use the illustrations to talk with your little learner about opposites like longand short.
- Play the matching game at the back of the book. Say the words aloud first then ask your little one to point to the matching picture.
