Listen! Do you hear a sound? Noises come from all around. Soft and gentle, loud and clear. Oh, so many sounds to hear! So Many Sounds is a wonderful rhyming read-aloud featuring everyday sounds and a refrain that children will love repeating.

Increase pre-literacy skills as you read together:

  • Pause after reading rhyming lines and say rhyming words like tappingand snapping or drumming and strumming Ask your little one to repeat the words.
  • Act out the story with your little one by pretending to play in a band or ride bikes.
  • Ask your little learner about the sounds of different items or animals. For example, ask your little one what sound a bird or a fire engine makes.
