Donnie Horner III is the Chief Operating Officer of the City of Jacksonville's Kids Hope Alliance. An experienced sales and marketing professional, his previous career took him to Beaver Street Fisheries, where his sales accounts included Fortune 500 companiess, small family owned businesses, and sole proprietorships. An experienced sales and marketing professional, he travels extensively and is responsible for executing the company's strategic sales initiatives.
Public service is an important part of Horner’s life. He and his wife, Dr. Kristen Horner, are Bronze Circle members of the Florida Forum, which benefits Wolfson Children's Hospital. Horner’s prior community involvement includes board stints at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, the Propeller Club, and Jacksonville University's Alumni Board of Governors. He also serves as vice chairman of the River Club in Jacksonville, and as president of the Naval Academy's Class of 2008.
Horner earned a Bachelor of Science in political science from the U.S. Naval Academy in 2008, and a Master of Business Administration from Jacksonville University in 2011. He is a 2015 graduate of Leadership Jacksonville and ran for the Florida House of Representatives in 2016. Horner and his wife are parishioners of Our Lady Star of the Sea where Donnie is a lector. They reside in Jacksonville Beach with their golden doodle Ellie.
