Get your library card ready! Join the Jacksonville Public Library’s Summer Reading Program, A Universe of Stories, as we celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon Landing. All June and July there will be fun events, great books to read, awesome prizes, and it's all free!

Here’s how the Summer Reading Program works:

Over the course of June and July start tracking your summer reading minutes on a free special bookmark, unlocking rewards as you complete weekly reading challenges.  Grab a new bookmark every week at your local library or download your bookmark and print at home.

Get a ticket for:

·         Reading for 15 minutes a day

·         Checking out materials

·         Logging onto a computer at the library

·         Getting or renewing a library card

·         Attending a library program

·         Volunteering – each day you volunteer equals one ticket

Redeem tickets for prizes as you go, or save up for bigger prizes! The more you read, the more tickets you earn!  There's a Universe of Stories waiting for you at the library this summer!  To find out more about Jacksonville Public Library’s Summer Reading Program – click here!
