#Tenikka Hughes Chats About her Upcoming Book Drive on Completely Booked
Action News Jax anchor Tenikka Hughes joins us on the podcast to chat about Tenikka's Books for Kids, an annual effort to collect book donations for children who participate in the Jacksonville Public Library's summer learning program. We chat about her passion for literacy in children, her career as an Emmy-award winning journalist and everything you can expect during the book drive's kick off at Jax Book Fest this Saturday, Feb. 29!
You can buy and donate books online for Tenikka's Books for Kids. The book drive runs from February 29 - March 14, 2020. This Amazon link will take you to a list of children’s books recommended by the Jacksonville Public Library. When you purchase books using the Amazon link, select "Jacksonville Public Library’s Gift Registry Address” as the shipping address and the books will be shipped directly to the library.
