#A Conversation with Allison McGill

Allison McGill is the founder of Lola & Pear Publishing and the author of The Adventures of Duke, the Therapy Dog: Duke Finds a Home. Based on a true story, this picture book for children shares the tale of a rescue dog and his new life with a happy ending. She chats with us about her writing process, starting her own publishing company and upcoming projects she has on the horizon on the latest episode of Completely Booked. Listen to the interview below:

#Book Tours + More

Allison recently traveled the country to promote her "Books, Babies & Booze Tour." Events were held at kid-friendly breweries around the country and featured free story times for children so parents could relax. During her Jacksonville visit, she held pop-up events at Engine 15, Hyperion and Intuition Ale Works. It was required that all parents drink responsibly and had designated drivers if needed.
