CALLING ALL TEENS: Join us for an Animal Advocate Mini Camp this summer and explore ways to help all animals lead happy, cruelty-free lives. This 5-day virtual mini-camp for teens will help you make a difference for the animals in your life and in your community. You'll get tools and tips, talk with other teens and even make pet toys to donate to local shelters.
Make a positive impact in the lives of ALL our furry (and even those not-so furry) friends.
Daily topics/themes include:
- Responsible pet ownership
- Protecting animal habitats
- Plant-based diets
- Finding cruelty-free hygiene products

Monday, July 19
Theme: Understanding a Plant-Based Diet
Featured Book: This is How We Fly by Anna Meriano
Supplies Needed:
- Weekly meal planner
- Pen/pencil blank paper
- Trail Mix supplies (your favorite nuts, seeds, and dried fruits, a small bowl or sandwich bag)
Tuesday, July 20
Theme: Living Cruelty Free
Featured Book: Flawed by Cecelia Ahern
Supplies needed:
- Measuring spoons
- Medium mixing bowl
- Hand mixer
- Spatula
- Small glass or plastic container with lid for storage
- Optional: blank sticker and Sharpie marker for labelling
Ingredients:
- 5 tbsp shea butter
- 3 tbsp coconut oil
- 2 tbsp almond oil
- 1 tsp jojoba oil
Optional: Essential oils for scent.
Recipe suggests:
- 5 drops lavender oil
- 10 drops lemon oil
- 5 drops ylang ylang oil

- An empty cup or jar to store the game sticks
