Friends of the Jacksonville Public Library The Friends of the Jacksonville Public Library is looking for volunteers to sort books for their Saturday book sales and for the upcoming Great Jacksonville Book Sale that will be held in March. Have you ever aspired to work in a quaint little book store? Well, here's your chance. The Friends of the Library is looking for volunteers for the BOOKtique, located outside of the new Main Library. Some duties, include sorting; stocking of books, snacks and gift items; cleaning; and assisting customers. As a volunteer you will receive a $2 credit per hour toward the purchase of books.
