General Information

The Conference Center at the Main Library provides public space for rental by individuals, groups and organizations. Other spaces in the Main Library may also be available for rental for events and activities scheduled after normal Library operating hours.

A wide range of facilities is available for use at the Main Library. The spaces can accommodate a variety of activities, from large events to small, informal meetings. Spaces available in the Conference Center include:

  • Auditorium – Theater seating. Fixed seating for 398 with small raised stage, small backstage area, and two green rooms.
  • Multi-Purpose Room – Seats up to 400.
  • Conference Rooms (4) – Seating 20, 10, 8 and 8 persons around a conference table or in a classroom style set up.
  • Gallery – The wide walkways outside the meeting rooms in the Conference Center are suitable for a receptions or vendor tables for of up to 250 people

The other floors of the Main Library contain the following areas that are also available:

  • Electronic Classroom (First Floor) – Seats 16 plus an instructor at computers in a classroom arrangement. Available for rental during Library hours.
  • Outdoor Courtyard. Available for rental after-hours only.

There are additional spaces available for special events

To determine if space will be available for the date and time needed, complete and submit the following form: Main Library Meeting Room Request. (PDF, 95KB)

We will respond to your request within seven business days, and notify you of the availability of space, provide fee information and request more details about your event from your authorized contact person. Room descriptions and set-up options will be provided.
