Select inspiring and imaginative novels from the second-floor fiction, collection, or advance your research in the periodicals and reference collections. Our expansive reference collection remains in the library to be readily available to all customers. Additionally, the periodicals collection maintains a historic back file of magazines, newspapers, and indexes bound, on microfilm, and online.

Children are sure to love the children's library, which includes a children's theater, an arts and crafts room and a story room. The theater looks like a screened-in porch, complete with Florida wildlife and a talking owl. Children can enjoy reading while sitting on the alligator sofa or manatee couch. The blue and green décor, denoting water and vegetation, celebrates the natural beauty of Florida, defining this enchanting space for young library visitors.

Adjoining this area is an open courtyard with a reflecting pool where we invite you to relax with a good book and enjoy a beautiful Florida day.
