History
Jacksonville Beach Library was acquired by the system in 1969 as part of the consolidation of the City and Duval County. The new regional library opened May 20, 1986. It is named after the three beach communities (Neptune Beach, Jacksonville Beach, and Atlantic Beach). Interior renovated in 2005 as part of the Better Jacksonville Plan.
